Dear Church Family,

I am sending this message in response to so many people who have questions about the direction SFC is headed regarding Church services and ministries. All of you know we have never faced anything like this in our lifetime. We are looking at what's happening as an opportunity to do church differently. I am praying for stronger family units, and an increase in  dependence on God. We all can agree that this virus hasn't taken God by surprise. Psalm 91 is the Psalm I believe that will lead the church through this challenging season. We must continue to trust God and not in our own abilities. (Proverbs 3:5-6) Recently, I invited our church leadership, church staff, and our sound-booth volunteers to my home for prayer and to put together a God-given plan to move forward.

Wednesday night we will be offering streaming through the church website and through Facebook Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Join Pastor Shannon @ 6pm for an exciting time. Adult Bible study with Chuck Dianda will start up again in a couple weeks studying the book of John. Donald will be sharing God's Word with our teens next Wednesday @ 6:45 on the website. Beginning this Sunday March 22 @ 10 am we will have prayer, scripture reading, praise & worship, and a sermon online. If anyone needs prayer, they can send a message on Facebook or on the website. We will reevaluate our plan soon. Here are some areas to please keep in prayer:

Church finances: We only have a six-week savings if we don't meet our monthly budget. Our minimum monthly budget is 16K. Monthly missions is $1200.00 & our benevolence needs to keep growing to meet the needs. Please continue to be obedient to God. You can give online or mail your check to the church. Please send a note with your check to be very specific were you want the funds to go.

  • Pray we are driven by faith and not fear

  • Pray for people who have been impacted by this virus all over the world

  • Pray for our missionaries & health care workers

  • Pray for our national leaders and for a vaccine

  • Pray for the church to seize ministry opportunities

  • Pray: Romans 15:13, "Now may the God of hope fill you with all the joy and peace in believing. that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit."
